- COVID-19 TESTING:

- Central Jersey Urgent Care is offering COVID-19 testing at the Robbinsville Township municipal building parking lot for a fee (April 9, 13, 15, 17) from 9 am – 5pm at the rear of building, 2298 Route 33, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.

- Recovered COVID-19 patients needed for serum collection. If you, or someone you know, had COVID-19 and have recovered you can help save a life. PRACTICING GOOD SELF-CARE DURING TIME AT HOME
We encourage everyone who is at home to find ways to practice good self-care. This still includes exercising, which releases endorphins and relieves stress and anxiety. Here are some ideas on ways to take care of yourself.
If possible for you, you might try:
- Running laps around your house, up and down stairs, in your yard, or around your apartment complex. Jump a rope if you’ve got one!
- Following an online video workout. Here is a great series of workout videos, provided to our community courtesy of Princeton Fitness and Wellness Center: https://try.princetonfitnessandwellness.com/at-home/
- Read up and do simple stretches and gentle calisthenics to keep your muscles from getting tight.
Comfort food might seem appealing, and there is nothing wrong with enjoying your favorite meal or some junk food occasionally. But try to eat a balanced diet as much as possible, including plenty of whole foods and fresh produce. Some farm restaurant suppliers are switching to home delivery of farm fresh produce in our area. These foods can help promote wellness in body and mind.
Think on what you are grateful for in your life and try to laugh out loud at something, it’s great for you! Try to maintain a normal sleep schedule as much as possible. Avoiding technology, particularly news and other media, for at least an hour before bedtime, can be very helpful. Doctors also recommend prayer, meditation, deep breathing exercises, and other relaxation techniques. These practices can offer relief from stress and help you get better sleep.
