Due to the Governor’s orders related to COVID-19, the Montgomery Township Food Pantry (MTFP) is closed and cannot accept donations of food or non-food grocery items at this time. We do not yet know when it will physically re-open or when it will begin to again accept donations of non-perishable food or non-food grocery items.

In order to continue to support current MTFP families and additional families in need due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are collecting donations on-line to purchase Shop Rite gift cards. To donate, please visit: Once logged on, please choose “Montgomery Recreation Trust Programs” and then select “Food Pantry Donations”.  If you have any questions, please email or call 609-466-3023 and someone will get back to you within 24 hours. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Due to the public healthcare emergency and for the safety of our clients and caregivers, the Senior Wellness Center at Montgomery is temporarily closed, as are all Somerset County Senior Centers through April 30. This is for the protection of our clients and employees, and to adhere to social distancing requirements.

Meals on Wheels are still being delivered to seniors. For questions about Meals on Wheels, call Somerset County Office on Aging at 908-704-6346 or toll-free at 1-800-747-1122.

RHM Rotary Club and the Montgomery Business Association have joined forces in an effort to help our local Healthcare Workers along with our local businesses.
