Kids on the Move


Description: The Kids on the Move Program is a fun after school program for 5th and 6th graders at Montgomery Lower Middle School. All participants receive a free Kids on the Move t-shirt.

High School Volunteers Needed to Volunteer for Kids on the Move this Spring! 

Volunteers are needed two afternoons per week to assist the Montgomery Township Health Department (MTHD) with the Kids on the Move Program at Lower Middle School (LMS).

As a volunteer, students will have the opportunity to participate in various activities throughout the month as part of this truly unique experience.

Involvement may include:
• Working alongside two health and fitness instructors
• Taking attendance at the beginning of each session
• Checking in with participants
• Providing encouragement and guidance to participants

Skills you can acquire through volunteering:
Leadership skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving and adaptability
