“Hocus Pocus” Free Outdoor Family Movie on Oct. 2

Register by Wednesday!

Montgomery Twp. Recreation has organized a free outdoor movie night for residents on Friday, Oct. 2nd. Space is limited and registration, which closes 9/30, is required due to covid-19 precautions.

The film Hocus Pocus will be shown at the park on Covert Drive behind the municipal building, near the dog park, on Friday, 10/2. The movie is free but we ask everyone to please register so we have an accurate count in advance.

To register, go to https://register.communitypass.net/Montgomery. Log-in or set-up your free Recreation account. Select Montgomery Recreation programs. On the next screen select Special Events and Seminars, where you will find the Movie Night.

Registration will close at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Check-in starts at 6:00 pm Friday, Oct. 2nd and the movie will start around 7:00 pm. All participants must wear a mask to go to and from their viewing point. Bring a blanket or beach chair! Generously spaced areas will be marked out on the grass for each family group. Parking will be available in the parking lot of The Grove Shopping Center, corner of Belle Mead-Griggstown Rd. and Rt. 206. Pre-packaged popcorn will be provided courtesy of the Harlingen Church.

Panel on Covid-19 in the South Asian Community

ISAAW NJ held a panel on September 27 in which Covid-19 and contact tracing in the South Asian Community was extensively discussed. Montgomery Township, NJ Deputy Health Officer Devangi Patel and other state and regional health officials participated. ISAAW stands for Inspiring South Asian American Women. Website: isaawnj.org
